At this 2 day workshop you will learn about Plein Air painting techniques focusing on an outdoor location on Saturday and urban landscape sketching on the Sunday
March 19 – 20 2022
Enjoy this weekend and learn how to paint using plein air painting techniques including painting an outdoor location and urban landscape sketching
Peter will show you how to be loose and free with your painting without compromising form and structure.
(Suitable for all levels of experience in Watercolour painting)
Saturday
9am to 4pm
and
Sunday
9am to 2pm

PLANNED WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
Saturday
9.00 AM Meet and greet, coffee etc
10.00 AM Weather permitting travel to our ‘ Plein Air ‘ site and start painting.
12.30 PM Picnic lunch
1.30 PM Continue painting
3.00 PM back to Eddy’s for afternoon tea and debrief.
4.00 PM Free time, relaxation etc
Sunday
9.00 AM coffee at Perennial or any other coffee shop
9.45 AM a morning of Urban Sketching, understanding value and toning in a painting.
12.30 PM Eddy’s for lunch
1.30 PM Review of weekend and any individual help , one on one
3.00 PM afternoon tea, good byes and home
About Peter Larsen
Peters’ paintings adorn the walls of many an art lover, nationally and internationally. Peter paints from his studio in Cowra which enables him to
travel out into the country where he loves to sketch and paint. His connection with the land and the wildlife is reflected in his work. He spends his time between “plein air” painting, commissions and workshops and finds teaching and interacting with other artist at whatever level most rewarding.
